Through this workshop we will consider how intention shapes our personal interactions, with a focus on parenting. We will also practice mindful techniques that support cultivating our ability to pause and be in the moment when we are with our children. The key elements of mindful parenting are: listening with full attention, becoming aware of emotions, developing a non-judgmental attitude, accepting difficulties and challenges, building compassion and acceptance, and embracing mistakes as opportunities.
