Strengthening Your Step Family

Gather with other step parents to discuss the experiences specific to blended families and how to navigate the challenges and find your place in parenting.

Learning outcomes:

  • Examine the dynamic of blended families and how you can build a cohesive blended family that connects, communicates and cooperates.
  • Adding another parent and/or children can be disruptive to a family.

This course will focus on ways to integrate two families effectively, improve communication between all family members, learn to work with the personalities of each person in the household and deal with conflicts that can arise between two (or more) homes.
