Online Behaviour Guidance Series

Take My Hand: Positive Guidance for Young Children (Infants – 10 years)

An online workshop series that will:

  • Provide an overview of indirect guidance, positive guidance strategies, and common challenging behaviours.
  • Identify and practice using positive wording, redirection, and logical consequences.
  • Allow participants to connect through a virtual Conversation Café discussion board.
  • Locate a variety of resources for additional information.

Access to the series will go live on Monday, October 21. The facilitator will be available to respond to submitted questions. Please note, you must submit your questions within 5 days of the series’ start date. Access to the series content will be available with the password until December 31, 2019.

University of Toronto students, staff, faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and their partners are welcome to email family.care@utoronto.ca for the password and to access the web link for the online workshops.
