Family Housing
St. George Campus
University Family Housing is a welcoming place for full-time degree program students with partners and/or children in two high-rise buildings located on Charles St. W., in walking distance from St. George campus. We encourage those interested in University Family Housing to submit an online application as soon as possible, as there is typically an extensive applicant list.

The University of Toronto Child Care Centre on Charles is conveniently located downstairs. This child care centre is not run by University Family Housing, but their residents have first priority when space is available; however, they do have a waitlist, so you are encouraged to apply early.
The University Family Housing Drop-In Centre provides parents of the University Family Housing apartments and their children age five years and under with a place to meet and socialize.
Apartments at Charles Street are not well-suited to accommodate a family with more than two children. Students on a degree-granting program with large families may want to look at UTM Family Housing.
Mississauga Campus
There are three-bedroom and four-bedroom townhouses available for student families at UTM Family Housing. Family housing is available to eligible University of Toronto students with a spouse/common-law partner and/or children, or where the student is the legal guardian of their extended family member. To apply, submit their online application as soon as possible, as there is normally a waitlist as demand is higher than the number of units.
Scarborough Campus
Currently, family housing is not offered at the Scarborough campus. However, the UTSC Student Housing & Residence Life team supports students searching for off-campus rental housing options. Visit the UTSC Student Housing & Residence Life website to learn more.
